Purpose built

Made for the track. Made for intervals.

The problem with most running apps: you have to tell them your exact workout plan upfront, and it's near impossible to change it mid-training. Your rest period is over, but lane 1 is busy and you want to wait a few more seconds before your next lap? You're feeling strong and want to add another interval? Good luck with other running apps.

Instead of your watch telling you what to do, you tell Laps what distance you're doing next and when your rest period is over. You did a full lap but GPS says it was only 382m? Laps trusts your input over the GPS.

Features

Built for the way you actually train.

Focus on the lap, not the watch

While on a lap, you don't have time to read tiny details on your watch. Laps focuses on showing your lap time front and center. When you cross the finish line, end your lap by pressing anywhere on the screen (or using Apple Watch Ultra's Action Button).

Recover and prepare for the next lap

Recovery counts up, not down. While resting, you can see your previous lap times and choose your next distance. If that takes 94 seconds instead of 90, it won't affect your next lap.

Warm-up and cool-down: tracked.

Track your open-ended warm-up and cool-down before and after your training, so every step is counted. While you jog, Laps shows your live distance, elapsed time, and heart rate — all saved to Apple Health alongside your reps.

Analyze and share in any app

Your workout data is stored in Apple Health and Fitness, so you can analyze and share it with any app you like — and get the kudos you deserve.
